In 1988, I made my first cold call with Shearson Lehman Brothers in Boston, and knew the sales industry was for me. Still an impressionable college student, I was blown away that after making a phone call, sharing a compelling investment opportunity, that someone you never met before would not only listen, but become a client! The seed of virtual sales had been planted. I spent the next 30 years not only in the financial services markets, but representing companies in almost every vertical and industry. During that time period, I’ve mastered the Sandler Submarine selling model, the Action Selling model- becoming a Certified Inside Sales Person (CISP) teacher and mentor, and over the last 5 years, the Challenger sales model, just to name a few. The foundation of American Sales Team incorporates all these different methodologies and experience designed to become your virtual sales organization.
